Troubleshoot Perceptive Experience

Use the information in this section to aid with troubleshooting.

  1. If you are unable to connect to the server, try the following options.
  1. If you encounter either Self-signed certificate or Certificate expiry warning messages, complete one of the following actions.

When you attempt to log in, depending on your selection, you establish a secure (HTTPS) or an unsecured (HTTP) connection with the server. If you choose a secure connection, data exchange between the application and the server is secured and the application accepts only a valid and trusted SSL certificate from the server. Choosing a secure connection does not make any visible difference to the actions you perform in the application. Situations might occur when the application does not receive a valid and trusted SSL certificate from the server. In these situations, the application displays a message to which you need to respond. Typically, these messages display in the following scenarios.

NOTE  You might experience other issues with a security certificate. For example, an issue can occur if the server domain is different from the common name of the certificate. In such situations, you need to contact your administrator.
