Indexing SharePoint

Perceptive Search supports indexing of the following Microsoft's SharePoint family products:

• Microsoft SharePoint Server 2010 / Windows SharePoint Services 2010
• Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 / Windows SharePoint Services 3.0
• SharePoint Portal Server 2003 / Windows SharePoint Services 2.0
• SharePoint Portal Server 2001 / SharePoint Team Services 2001

You can either create a new index or add a SharePoint Document Management System indexing rule to an existing index.

Note that by default Perceptive Search will index the metadata according to the default view of the SharePoint list. If you wish to specify which metadata fields Perceptive Search should index regardless of the default view, create a custom view called "ISYS" and include all the columns you wish indexed.
