I'm looking for

The "I'm looking for" search box provides you a quick and easy way to execute a search using your favorite search style in the selected indexes.

Located on the left-hand side of the screen, the "I'm look for..." search box sites just above the quick access panel. When used in conjuction with "My Index Catalog", you can easily select one or more indexes to execute your search.

My Index Catalog

The My Index Catalog panel shows you all the indexes that you current have available in either your personal or shared catalog. You can select which index you wish to search by simply clicking on the name, it will change to bold and have a check next to it when selected.

Perceptive Search allows you to select multiple indexes and search across them all at once. To select multiple entries in the My Index Catalog, select the first index your are interested, then hold down the Ctrl key and continue to click on the other indexes you are interested in searching. If you wish to add or remove an index from the current selection, hold the Ctrl key again and click its name.

Only the indexes indicated in bold will be searched.

Executing the search

Now that you have selected your indexes, you are ready to perform your search. Enter your search in the "I'm looking for" box, and either press [Enter] or click the search button.
