Perceptive Enterprise Search - Local Administration Console Macros give you the ability to extend the Perceptive Enterprise Search - Local Administration Console application to include custom functionality.
Perceptive Search macros must be implemented in VBScript. You can also call custom COM objects, if you wish to integrate with third-party systems. Macros are installed in the "Macros" folder under Perceptive Enterprise Search installation directory, typically "C:\Program Files\Perceptive Enterprise Search". Macros must have a .macro extension for them to be recognized by Perceptive Search. Perceptive Search uses the filename of each macro as the display name.
You will be able to execute your macros by selecting from the Perceptive Enterprise Search - Local Administration Console menu:
Tools > Macros > [Your Macro Name].
