Services

Controls background services run by Perceptive Enterprise Search. Available options are:

Intelligent Agents

Indicates how frequently intelligent agents should be checked for new data. Intelligent agents are created using the COM API and are different from subscribed search. This option is off by default.

Index Updates

Indicates how frequently Perceptive Enterprise Search should check for index updates done using the COM API. This setting is only required if you are programmatically updating your indexes using the ISYSIndexer COM object.

Run Maintenance As

Specifies an account that is used to run the above services. This may be required if you are accessing resources on the network.
