Perceptive Enterprise Search's strength and flexibility comes from its easy to use, yet powerful template language. Each website can have its own set of templates that will be used when rendering its pages. A website's templates are stored in:

By default, the website is configured to look in this folder when a template is required. The possible templates are:
Concept TaxonomyThis template is used to render a node of the concept taxonomy tree. It may contain symbols from Concept View and Results View.
DocumentThis template is used when rendering the document with hit-highlighting and hit-to-hit navigation. It may contain symbols from Document View.
Document DetailsThis template is used when rendering the document's details and metadata. The document content is not shown. It may contain symbols from Document View.
Directory BrowseThe directory browse template is used to browse the content of a folder when Directory Browsing is enabled.
Document Could Not Be OpenedThis template is used when a document fails to open.
Frame SetThis template allows you to override the default template when rendering a frame set. It may contain symbols from Frame Sets.
No ResultsThis template is shown when a search produces no results. It may contain symbols from Results View. Please note that most symbols will evaluate to empty strings.
ResultsThe result template is used to render the search results. It may contain symbols from Results View.
Search TimeoutThe search timeout template is used when a search takes longer than the specified timeout.
SubscribeThe subscribe template is shown when a user tries to subscribe to search. It is used to prompt the user for the required information.
