What is the Universal Importer

You can use the Universal Importer to do a bulk import of documents, including their index data. The Universal Importer allows you to import your documents to the Saperion archive.

The advantages of using the Universal Importer include the following.

• You can use the importer on any platform that supports the Saperion UBI
• You can use the importer in applications with job controls
• You can use XML as well as CSF files to transfer index data
