You must have administrative privileges to install Audit Manager.You must have administrative privileges to install Audit Manager. To work with the supporting files, navigate to the local directory where you stored the supporting files. To install the web application, complete the following steps.

Stop the web application server service.
To work with the supporting files, navigate to the local directory where you stored the supporting files.

  1. Navigate to the folder where your local installation files are stored and extract the ZIP content from the audit-manager-<version>.tar.gz file to a new folder.
  2. If the web app is hosted in IIS, you need to install the 64 bit or 32 bit version (depending on the Operating System) of the IIS Url rewrite module for the application to work. The module installers are available in the IIS Url rewrite module installer folder. If the application is hosted in IIS, JSON type must be added as a valid mime type for the application. Depending upon installation setup, the href value of index.html needs to be changed to either of "/" or "./".
    Note: The default location for the webapps directory is [drive:]\Program Files\Apache SoftwareFoundation\[Tomcat Installation]\webapps\.
  3. Host the application on preferred hosting platform.
    Note:

    To uninstall the web application, terminate hosting the application in Tomcat or IIS. In addition, any configuration changes applied before to host the application such as securing ports, URL, need to be removed.
