From Digital Workspace 8.0.0, the Knowledge Discovery link is displayed in the sidebar navigation when a Knowledge Discovery URL is configured. Selecting the link opens Knowledge Discovery in a new context, redirecting a user to the Knowledge Discovery interface.

1. In the docker-compose.yml file, locate the digital-workspace service section.
2. Under the environment section of the digital-workspace service, set APP_CONFIG_KNOWLEDGE_DISCOVERY_URL to the URL of your Knowledge Discovery environment.

   If the APP_CONFIG_KNOWLEDGE_DISCOVERY_URL setting is empty or not set, the link is not displayed.

3. Save the docker-compose.yml file.
   A Knowledge Discovery link appears in the Digital Workspace sidebar navigation. Selecting the link opens Knowledge Discovery in your browser.
