The SAP Connector offers three behaviors which accomplishes different tasks on updating or creating documents.
The behaviors connect from Content Services to the SAP system via the SAP Java Connector. Each behavior invokes a different function module on the SAP side. In contrast to the Jobs, Behaviors are used to trigger an action on the SAP side rather then replicate metadata. The following behaviors are available:

| sapContentConnectorCreateArchivelink | Connect documents stored in Alfresco to existing SAP Business Objects. |
| sapContentConnectorBarcode | Add the barcode to the SAP external barcode table. |
| sapContentConnectorWorkflow | Start a SAP Workflow for a specified SAP user attaching the current document. |
