Alfresco Digital Workspace includes the Legal Holds functionality for end users. Legal Holds allow users to:
- Meet legal obligations by preserving information.
- Provide compliance with regulations.
- Minimize legal risks.
Once a file is placed under Legal Hold, the content can not be deleted or altered.
Note: The Legal Holds feature only supports Records Management roles
that are defined by default. Users with custom roles containing Legal Hold capabilities
will not have access to this feature.
