The ReST API Java wrapper library in SDK provides a Java object wrapper around the Alfresco ReST API. If you are not familiar with Alfresco ReST API version 1.0, then read through the ReST API Guide section in the Alfresco Content Services documentation.
The ReST API wrapper classes have been generated based on the ReST API Swagger definition. The following main packages exist for the different APIs:
- alfresco-auth-rest-api - Managing Alfresco tickets
- alfresco-core-rest-api - The main API with actions, nodes, audit, renditions, sites, tagging, versioning etc
- alfresco-discovery-rest-api - Repository information, such as license, version, modules
- alfresco-search-rest-api - Search API
The following API requires the Alfresco Insight Engine (see the Alfresco Insight Engine documentation) to be installed:
- alfresco-search-sql-rest-api - SQL search with Alfresco Insight Engine
The following APIs require the Alfresco Governance Services (see the Alfresco Government Services documentation) module to be installed:
