You can configure Microsoft Outlook to archive email in Alfresco using an alternative naming convention. By default, the Alfresco Outlook Client shows the subject line for emails instead of the name. This allows to change the name of an email document that's displayed in the Alfresco Outlook Client, in Alfresco Share or in Webdav.
Previously, changes to the cm:name attribute in Share or Webdav did not affect the name that was displayed in the Alfresco Outlook Client. In addition, if you used a naming convention for emails saved in your file system (for example, on a networked drive), when you moved these files into Alfresco via the Alfresco Outlook Client, the file name of the document was not saved as the email name in the Alfresco Outlook Client. Instead, the email was named using the email subject, so you needed to manually rename each email after the upload.
