Transform Service uses alfresco-pdf-renderer for creating document thumbnails and previews. Use this information to install alfresco-pdf-renderer on your system.

Note: The alfresco-pdf-renderer executable file is platform-specific. You can download the binaries from our Nexus repository.
  1. For Windows:
    1. Download alfresco-pdf-renderer-x.x-win64.tgz, where x.x is the version number.
      You can find the file in the Alfresco Nexus repository, available at https://nexus.alfresco.com/nexus/.

      Alfresco customers can request Nexus credentials by logging a support ticket via Hyland Community at: https://community.hyland.com. These credentials are required to access private (Enterprise-only) artifacts from Nexus.

    2. Browse to the location of your saved file and extract the archive to a location of your choice.
    3. Note down the exe path: <alfresco-pdf-renderer_installation_dir>/alfresco-pdf-renderer.
  2. For Linux:
    1. Download alfresco-pdf-renderer-x.x-linux.tgz, where x.x is the version number.
