The Supervisor Verification phase uses the same window as Pass 1 and Pass 2 Verification, so the operator sees either the Key From Image Verification window or the classic Edit Line Verification window, depending on which one the template designer specified for the particular template. The only exception to this is when the Audit functionality is used. Audit zones always appear in the regular Verification screen, regardless of the template.

Supervisor Verification is used for three purposes:

  • When a sticky note is attached to a Quick App profile zone, the entire document set is immediately sent to the supervisor.

  • For an assigned operator to review images sent to Supervisor Verification automatically, either from Pass 1 / Pass 2 Verification, to resolve discrepancies in double-key Verification, or with a Sticky Note generated by VBScript.

  • For an assigned operator to review Audit zones. When an image has been routed to Supervisor Verification with a Sticky Note, this Verification takes place BEFORE the Audit.

When the Supervisor Verification phase starts, either in AutoFlow or when you click the Supervisor Verification button in the Work Flow Manager, the Verification window is displayed.

When an image is sent to Supervisor Verification with a Sticky Note on a zone, as soon as the image opens in Supervisor Verification, the cursor goes straight to the zone with the Note attached, and the Sticky Note appears. If the zone has rules associated with it the Supervisor must resolve them since rules are not validated during Pass 1 or Pass2 for zones with attached sticky notes.
