You can work with image files in formats such as TIFF, PNG, and JPG and PDF documents.
When a PDF file is uploaded or selected:
- The application detects the PDF format and automatically converts each page into an image.
- These images are rendered in ALM Viewer, enabling you to interact with PDF content just as you would with image files.
- Each page of the PDF is treated as an individual image for processing.
Like image files you can modify the way a page’s extracted text is displayed to assist in finding required values while working with PDF document.
Note:
- Conversion from PDF to images may take a few seconds depending on the number of pages and file size.
- High-resolution PDFs might result in larger image files, which could impact performance on low-resource systems.
