Note: If Microsoft .NET Core Windows Server Hosting Bundle 2.x is installed, we highly recommend uninstalling this version before proceeding.

Before you install Content Composer Web Client, you must install the Microsoft .NET Core Windows Server Hosting Bundle.

If you decide to uninstall Microsoft .NET Core Windows Server Hosting Bundle 2.x afterwards, you will need to uninstall and reinstall Microsoft .NET Core Windows Server Hosting Bundle 6.x and Content Composer Web Client.

Complete the following steps.

  1. Go to https://dotnet.microsoft.com/download/dotnet-core and select the required version.
    Note: Content Composer Web Client supports the latest version of 6.x.
  2. From the ASP.NET Core Runtime section, download the Hosting Bundle.
  3. Install the Hosting Bundle on your server.
