The Administration Portal allows you to view archived users and edit their profile information if necessary.

By default, archived users are filtered out of user lists in the Administration Portal. You can temporarily display archived users if you need to view or change their profile information. For example, you may need to change the email address of an archived user to allow the email address to be used with a new user account.

Note: Archived user accounts cannot be restored to an active status.

To view archived users:

  1. Open the Administration Portal.
  2. Do one of the following:
    • On the Dashboard page, click Find User in the Users tile.
    • Select the Identity tab under the banner.
The Internal Users page is displayed.
  3. Optional: If you are retrieving a service user, click Service Users in the sidebar.
  4. Turn on the Show Archived Users toggle above the list of users.
The list is refreshed to include archived users. Archived users have a status of Archived.
  5. To view profile information for an archived user, select the archived user from the list.
The user configuration page is displayed.
  6. If necessary, edit the user profile information.
Note: If you change the email address for an archived user, the Content Innovation Cloud does not send a verification email to the new address. Verification emails are sent only to users who are not archived.
  7. Click Save.
The changes are saved, and a confirmation message is displayed.
