Register system integrations to enable connections between the Content Innovation Cloud and other content services systems.

System integrations are created and assigned to an environment in the Content Innovation Cloud Administration Portal. This process both registers the system integration and assigns it an integration ID.

To register a system integration:

  1. Open the Administration Portal.
  2. Select the External Systems tab under the banner.
  3. In the sidebar, click System Integrations.
The System Integrations page is displayed.
  4. Click Add System Integration.
The Add System Integration wizard is displayed.
  5. In the Name field, enter a name for the system integration.
  6. From the System drop-down list, select the content services system for this integration.
Note: The Local and Legacy HXPR system types are specific to Hyland Knowledge Discovery. For information about using system integrations with Hyland Knowledge Discovery, see the Hyland Knowledge Discovery documentation.
  7. From the Environment drop-down list, select the environment for this integration.
  8. Review the system integration settings.
Once the system integration is created, it cannot be deleted. Only its name can modified.
  9. Click Add System Integration.
A confirmation message is displayed, and the system integration is added to the System Integrations page. The integration ID is displayed in the rightmost column.
  10. To copy the integration ID, click the Copy button to the right of the ID.
The integration ID is copied, and a confirmation message is displayed. You can use the integration ID to configure other components of your integration.
