Depending on your system's configuration, you may have to set up multi-factor
authentication (MFA) the first time you sign in to the Content Innovation Cloud with your
Content Innovation Cloud password. MFA is a security measure that requires users to provide
an additional form of identification during the sign-in process.
To set up MFA, you must have an authenticator app installed on a trusted device. You can use
any authenticator app that supports six-digit verification codes. Examples include
Google Authenticator and Microsoft Authenticator.
-
Follow the steps to sign in as described under Signing In with a Password.
-
When prompted to set up MFA, open the authenticator app on your trusted
device.
-
In the authenticator app, choose to add a new account.
-
Follow the prompts in the authenticator app to do one of the following:
- Scan the QR code displayed on the Content Innovation Cloud sign-in page.
- Enter the Key value displayed on the Content Innovation Cloud
sign-in page.
The authenticator app displays a verification code.
-
Enter the verification code from the authenticator app into the
Verification Code field on the Content Innovation
Cloud sign-in page.
-
Click Verify on the Content Innovation Cloud sign-in
page.
A list of recovery codes is displayed.
Note: Save these recovery codes in a secure location. You can use them to
sign in to the Content Innovation Cloud if you cannot obtain a verification
code using your authenticator app. Each recovery code can be used only one
time.
-
Click Continue to continue signing in to the Content
Innovation Cloud.
You have completed the MFA setup process. From now on, you'll be
prompted to enter a verification code every time you sign in using your Content
Innovation Cloud password.
