The User Portal allows users to access Content Innovation Cloud applications based on their assigned user groups and roles.

Depending on the Content Innovation Cloud account, users can access the User Portal at one of the following URLs:

Tip: If you're not sure which URL to use, refer to the activation email you received when your user account was created.

For an application to be available in the User Portal, the following conditions must be met:

  • The user who is signed in must have sufficient role-based permissions to access the application. This requirement applies to all users, including account administrators. To manage roles within an application, see Assigning User Groups to Roles.

Note: Account administrators also require role-based permissions to the applications they need to access in the User Portal. Account administrators do not automatically have access rights to all applications in the account.
  • If the application is associated with a subscription, then the associated subscription must be active. To check the status of a subscription, see Viewing Subscription Details.

  • If the application is provisioned at the environment level, then the user must access the environment the associated subscription is assigned to. If a user has rights to access applications in multiple environments, then the user can go to the appropriate environment using the Switch Environment button in the User Portal header.

Note: Service applications, which do not have a user interface, cannot be accessed from the User Portal.
