You can remove email domains that do not require federated authentication.

Removing an email domain also unassigns it from the external identity providers it is currently assigned to.

Note: Removing an email domain could prevent users from signing in to the Content Innovation Cloud. If an email domain is not configured in your Content Innovation Cloud account, then local authentication is the only option available for users with that email domain.

To remove an email domain:

  1. Open the Administration Portal.
  2. Select the Identity tab under the banner.
The Internal Users page is displayed.
  3. In the sidebar, click Email Domains.
The email domain table is displayed.
  4. Find the email domain that you want to remove, and click the Delete icon (Delete icon) in the rightmost column.
You are prompted to confirm that you want to delete the email domain.
  5. Click Delete Email Domain to continue removing the email domain from your deployment.
The email domain configuration is deleted, and a confirmation message is displayed.
