Global permissions are based on the user's defined role in their Content Innovation Cloud account. These permissions are applied when the user performs actions on any documents in the repository. For example, global permissions would allow a business administrator to create or import documents into the repository, or to remove a version of a document whose working copy has already been removed. However, global permissions may be superseded by the more restrictive ACL permissions when certain actions are taken on specific documents.
