This section describes the User Groups and Roles available for the Hyland for Workday application. It also explains how account administrators or system administrators can assign User Groups to Roles using the Content Innovation Cloud Administration Portal.

When a new environment is provisioned, the system automatically creates the following default User Groups and Roles:

• System Administrators for OnBase

• System Administrators for CIC

• General Content Users

Before assigning User Groups to Roles or Users, verify that these default User Groups exist. If they do not exist, contact your system administrator.

Users require the appropriate privileges to perform tasks in Hyland for Workday. Assign the applicable User Groups to the Roles that provide these privileges. Users assigned to those Roles can create, read, update, and delete system configurations for supported content repositories in Hyland for Workday.

Unified Content Enablement Backend (UCEB) is a multi-tenant, cloud-based backend service that provides system administrator Roles for managing content repository configurations. These Roles are available across the supported line-of-business (LOB) administration interfaces for Salesforce, Guidewire, SAP, Workday, ServiceNow, and SuccessFactors.
