This section describes how to create a new content platform configuration for a repository.

Note: Complete the instructions in this section only if you are using the OnBase content repository.

To create a new platform content instance:

  1. On the Configure Content Platforms page, select Create New Content Platform Instance.
The Select Content Platform and Instance Name fields are displayed.
  2. Do the following:
    • In the Select Content Platform drop-down list, select OnBase.
    • In the Instance Name field, enter a name.
Note: The instance name (also known as System Friendly Name) is used as the systemInstanceName query parameter in solution-level custom tasks to connect each custom task to its corresponding system configuration. For instructions on modifying this value, see Creating Solution Configurations.
  3. Click OK.
The CFS Settings page is displayed.
  4. On the CFS Settings page, enter values for the following:
    Option Description
CFS Base URL Enter the base URL for the CFS environment that you are connecting to. Hyland provides this value based on the applicable environment. If you do not have this value, contact your system administrator.

For more information, see the Content Federation Services - OnBase documentation.

CFS System Integration ID Enter a valid CFS System Integration ID. It is in a UUID/GUID format, for example, d4a62ae3-6853-42fa-8b6e-3fb7f2617e61.

For more information, see the Adding a System Integration chapter in the Content Federation Services - OnBase documentation.

  5. Click OK.
    • A new content platform instance is created and a confirmation message is displayed.
    • The new instance is available in the Update Existing Content Platform Instance and Delete Existing Content Platform Instance drop-downs.
