Hyland for Workday allows you to select the columns for the Document Grid, how these columns are displayed, and the metadata for uploaded documents. You can configure these through the Configure Dynamic Columns tab in Hyland for Workday. The metadata for documents that are captured using Hyland for Workday provide context to the documents and are used for filtering and displaying documents in the Document Grid.

Note: Before you begin, verify that you are logged on to Hyland for Workday and selected a Business Object to configure. If you have not completed these, see Configuring a Business Object for OnBase.

To configure dynamic columns:

  1. From the Configure Hyland for Workday page, navigate to the Configure Dynamic Columns tab.
    Configure Dynamic Columns tab selected
The Configure Dynamic Columns for [Business Object] page is displayed, where [Business Object Name] is the name of the Business Object you selected. This page displays the Saved Columns table, the total number of preconfigured columns and their respective alias names.

For example, if you selected the Business Object Employee, the Configure Dynamic Columns for Employee page is displayed.
