Field Mapping maps Workday business object attributes to corresponding document attributes or keywords in OnBase. For example, the Workday attribute Employee ID can be mapped to the OnBase attribute Employee Id. This configuration enables Hyland for Workday to associate Workday data with captured documents.
Note: Before you begin, verify that you are logged on to Hyland for Workday and selected a Business Object to configure. If you have not completed these, see Configuring a Business Object for OnBase.

To configure field mappings:

  1. Navigate to the Configure Field Mapping tab.
    Configure Field Mapping tab selected
The Configure Document Capture for [Business Object Name] page is displayed where [Business Object Name] is the name of the Business Object you selected.

For example, the Configure Document Capture for Employee page is displayed if you selected the Business Object Employee.

Configure Document Capture for Employee page
Note: If this feature is already configured, select the Configure again? check box to reconfigure it.
  2. From the Document Attribute column, select the required Document Attribute for each Business Object Attribute.
Note: Document capture through Hyland for Workday does not support document attributes that belong to a single-instance or multi-instance Keyword Type Group in OnBase. Use stand-alone keywords when configuring field mappings.
  3. Map the Business Object ID attribute to the corresponding stand-alone OnBase keyword. For example, map Employee Object ID to the OnBase keyword configured to store the employee object ID.
  4. Click OK.
