To install SAPERION version 7.1, please see the “Installation Guide SAPERION Version 7.1” (PDF). After install, do a quick check that both the Java core server and the Rich Client are executable.
Before the data can be imported into SAPERION from the OT tables, the archive table, in this example “Ix-os_v1”, must be created. In addition, the file with the table definitions (“Ixos_v1.ddc”) must be copied into SAPERION’s “defs” directory. This table contains the entries of all documents which will be referenced.
After restarting the software, the “Ixos_v1” table is created in the database. Now the data can be imported into this table from the OT tables. The entries of the documents from the “Ixos_v1” table can be viewed in the Rich Client. A query form (“Ixos_v1_q.qbe“) as well as an index form („Ixos_v1_i.qbe”) are part of the table defini-tion (“Ixos_v1.ddc”). These files must be copied into SAPERION’s “masks” directory.
After starting the Rich Client, both forms must be combined into an application. Once this is done, you can view the table entries in the Rich Client.
