When you open the Saperion configuration from within Outlook, the additional option Send Mode is available.
The Send Mode option specifies how the Office Integration behaves when sending emails. The following settings are available.
- Archive off. Defines that the email is sent but not archived.
- Archive on. Specifies that the email is sent and archived.
- Always archive. Defines that the email is always archived when it is sent.
- Always send. Specifies that the email is never archived when it is sent.
When an MDA is connected to a client through ActiveSync, you cannot use the Send Mode option because of technical reasons. It is not possible to automatically archive sent emails.
