If you only want to render documents as needed instead of rendering all documents, you can render from the index form. To enable the rendering on demand option, complete the following steps.

1. In the Rich Client, click Options and, in the View group, disable the Web Client option.
2. In the Rich Client, open the Forms Designer and insert a field.
3. In the Form Field dialog box, on the General tab, complete the following substeps.
   1. Activate Variable.
   2. In the text field, enter the properties OIRenderTIF or OIRenderPDF, as needed.
   3. From the drop-down list, click Yes or No, as needed.
4. Click OK.
