For Document Imaging, the ability to perform Bar Code Processing at the time of scanning requires a Production Document Imaging license. Bar Code Processing at the time of scanning cannot be performed on a workstation registered for Desktop Document Imaging.

If you are performing Bar Code Processing using Kofax hardware or software, a Production Document Imaging (Kofax or TWAIN) license should be used.

If you are performing Bar Code Processing using Fujitsu PaperStream IP hardware or software (that is, within Document Imaging for the Unity Client), either a Production Document Imaging (Kofax or TWAIN) or a Production Document Imaging (TWAIN) license should be used.

If you are performing Bar Code Processing using the Hyland Bar Code Recognition software, either a Production Document Imaging (TWAIN) or a Production Document Imaging (ISIS) license should be used.
