A Bar Code Process is a specific configuration of bar code types and locations associated with a Document Type or process. A Bar Code Process is used by OnBase to identify when and how to read bar codes on a document.

To create a Bar Code Process:

  1. In the OnBase Configuration module, click Import | Bar Code Process. The Bar Code Process Configuration dialog box is displayed.
  2. Enter a name for the process to be created and click Create. The Bar Code Process is added to the Bar Code Format Name list.
To delete a Bar Code Process, select it in the Bar Code Format Name list and click Delete.
