Before CAR/LAR can be performed in the OnBase Client module, some additional configuration must be performed within the OnBase Configuration module.

This information does not pertain to CAR/LAR to be performed in the Branch Capture scanning client. All settings required for CAR/LAR to be performed in the scanning client are available on the CAR/LAR tab of the Branch Capture Scanning Client Settings dialog box. For more information, see The CAR/LAR Tab.
CAR/LAR requires additional licensing and software. A dongle, required to perform CAR/LAR, may be installed on the scanning workstation or on a network server for access by multiple scanning workstations.
