The BIC processing and back up paths must be set. To set the paths:
- Go to the ArchiveLink Administrative pages in a browser. For example: http://machinename/virtualdirectory/ArchiveLinkAdminModule.
- Expand the Configuration category.
- Select Settings.
- Under the Business Indexing Connector Settings heading, specify the amount of time (in seconds) that should elapse between polling for IDocs in the Polling Period field.
- Enter the IDoc Processing Location and IDoc Backup Location. These paths will vary by system.
- If you want to enable tracking of keyword value changes, click the Enable History Tracking check box.

The account used as the Identity User must have Full Control rights for the directories used as BIC paths.
