Remote Desktop Server memory requirements for OnBase are based on the number of users connecting to the server and using OnBase. Memory usage should be determined for a single user using all of the modules installed, then multiplied by the total number of users who can connect to the server at the same time.

For example, if the OnBase environment is set up to include the OnBase Client, Workflow, and Application Enabler, first determine the memory cost for a single user using all of these modules.

CAUTION:

The memory use listed here is for illustrative purposes only and will not match the actual requirements of your solution.

Assuming you determine the memory cost is 50 MB for a single user, you must then multiple that number by the total number of users that can connect to the server. If 10 users can connect at once, you would therefore estimate that your OnBase solution requires a minimum of 500 MB of server memory.
