Depending on your virtualization environment, the ability to use command line switches when OnBase is published as an application may be available. If this functionality is available, when Application Enabler is being used with only a single host application, or is used most often with a particular application, the corresponding XML configuration file can be set to load automatically when the Unity Client is launched.
To configure a specific XML configuration file to load automatically when the Unity Client is launched, append the UNC location of the XML configuration file to the command line switch. For example:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Unity Client\obunity.exe" -AE:"\\server1\appenablerxml\FinApp.xml"
This path represents the host name and shared folder of the server containing the XML configuration file.
As long as the user has access to the location of the XML file, when the user launches Application Enabler in the Unity Client, the XML file loads automatically.
For more information on configuring command line switches in a virtualization environment, see your virtualization environment provider's documentation.
