This mark type represents a portion of the output string that has the same value for every page it appears on. The value is a pre-configured value which is stored in the database.

After selecting Static Mark from the Numeric Mark Type drop-down, select the appropriate options to configure the mark type.

Value Settings

The value entered in this field is a static value that will be generated as a bar code. 0-9 and a-f are valid characters that can be entered. Placing an * at the beginning and end of the value tells the scanner when to start and stop reading the bar code. An example of a valid value is *123456789*.
