To add the OnBase button to the Integration for HP Connect, you must first add the Integration for HP Connect to your HP Web Jetadmin application.
To add the Integration for HP Connect to your HP Web Jetadmin application:
- From the HP Web Jetadmin application, click Tools | Options. The Options dialog box is displayed.
- In the left navigation pane, expand the Device Management branch, then the Configuration branch, to display the OXPd Device Function Repository.
- From the right side of the Options dialog box, click Import. The Open dialog box is displayed.
- Browse to the DeviceConfiguration.xml file that was installed with your OnBase-HP web server. In a default installation, this file is located in C:\inetpub\wwwroot\HP OnBase Connect\bin\Resources.
- Click Open. The Open dialog box is closed and the HP Connect for OnBase line is added to the OXPd Device Function Repository list in the Options dialog box.
- Select the HP Connect for OnBase line and click Edit. The OXPd Device Function Details dialog box is displayed.

From the Web Application section, in the URI field,
enter the URL to the login.aspx page of your OnBase-HP web server. By default, it is
http://[ServerName]/HP OnBase
Connect/login.aspx.
Tip:
The default value in the URI field contains https; if your OnBase-HP web server does not use a secure connection, ensure that you change the value to contain http instead of https.
- Click OK to return to the Options dialog box.
- Click OK.
