To scan and upload documents to OnBase via the Integration for HP Connect, a user must belong to a User Group with the following:

Rights to scan queues used to scan the documents

Rights to the Document Types associated with those scan queues
From the scanning device, a user can view and access only those scan queues and Document Types to which they have rights.
No additional product rights or privileges are necessary.

It is considered a best practice to grant users rights to all Document Types assigned to scan queues to which the users have rights. If, for security reasons, users cannot be given rights to all Document Types assigned to a scan queue, then separate scan queues should be created.
