The Integration for HP Connect is installed using the Hyland Integration for HP Connect Setup Wizard. This wizard automatically installs and configures the OnBase-HP web server on the physical machine that is hosting the OnBase-HP web server.
To install the OnBase-HP web server via the Hyland Integration for HP Connect Setup Wizard:
- Obtain the Hyland Integration for HP Connect Setup Wizard's executable (i.e., setup.exe or Hyland Integration for HP Connect.msi) and copy it to the physical machine that will be hosting the OnBase-HP web server.
- Double-click the wizard's executable to launch it. The setup wizard's Welcome screen is displayed.
-
Click Next to proceed to the Destination Folder screen.
-
On the Destination Folder screen, you must specify the
location where you would like to install the OnBase-HP web server. The default installation
location (C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\HP OnBase Connect) is automatically selected.
To select a different location, manually enter the path in the Destination Folder field or click Change to browse to the location.Note:
The folder containing the OnBase-HP web server installation files (i.e., the Destination Folder) must be accessible to the workstation running the HP Web Jetadmin software in order to configure your Integration for HP Connect solution.
-
When the destination folder has been selected, click Next. The Data Source screen is displayed.
- Select or enter the name of the data source used to connect to your OnBase database. By default, the data source used by your OnBase Application Sever is automatically selected.
-
Click Next. The IIS screen is displayed.
-
Select an authentication type:
-
Select Standard Authentication to use OnBase user authentication for the OnBase-HP web server.
-
Select Domain Authentication to use Active Directory or LDAP authentication for the OnBase-HP web server.
Note:By default, the domain authentication is set to automatic logon, which bypasses the Integration for HP Connect 's Log On screen. This setting can be changed to interactive logon, which requires users to enter their credentials on the Log On screen, in the OnBase-HP web server's Web.config file. See Authentication Options for more information.
-
-
To run the OnBase-HP web server via an SSL connection, select Enable TLS. If this option is selected, you must ensure that your server is correctly configured for TLS.
Tip:
It is considered a best practice to use TLS encryption for your OnBase-HP web server to ensure that the data being transmitted from your HP devices to the OnBase-HP web server and the data being transmitted from the OnBase-HP web server to the OnBase Application Server is secure.
- When all IIS settings have been configured, click Next.
-
The Default User Account Settings screen is displayed.
-
If you wish to set the standard authentication to automatic logon, proceed to the next step.
-
If you wish to set the standard authentication to interactive logon, click Next and proceed to step 13.
Note:If you set the standard authentication to automatic logon, the credentials you enter in the next step will be encrypted in the OnBase-HP web server's Web.config file. Once the Integration for HP Connect is installed, you will not be able to change this setting. If you set the standard authentication to interactive logon, however, you will still be able to change the setting to automatic in the Web.config file. See Authentication Options for more information
