The HP Connect for OnBase button is added to your HP devices through the HP Web Jetadmin software. The server running the HP Web Jetadmin software must have access to the OnBase-HP Web Server's installation files.
The following information is intended to give you a general overview of using your HP Web Jetadmin specifically to add the HP Connect for OnBase button to your HP devices. For additional information about the HP Web Jetadmin software, see its documentation (http://www.hp.com/go/webjetadmin).
There are two steps required to add the HP Connect for OnBase button to your HP devices:
- Make the Integration for HP Connect Functionality Available to your HP Devices in the HP Web Jetadmin Software. This step only needs to be completed once. See Adding the Integration for HP Connect to HP Web Jetadmin.
- Add the HP Connect for OnBase Button to an HP Device. This step must be repeated for each HP device that is to be configured to display the HP Connect for OnBase button. See Adding the HP Connect for OnBase Button to an HP Device.
Both of these steps are performed in the HP Web Jetadmin software application. Prior to launching the HP Web Jetadmin software, ensure that both the HPWJA Service and the SQL Server (HPWJA) services are running on the workstation that will be used to access the HP Web Jetadmin software.
