In the <appSettings> section of your Web.config file, the CaptureMode setting allows you to set the level of indexing to be completed at the HP device. Any indexing not completed at the device must be completed in the batch status queues within the OnBase Client.
The CaptureMode can be set to any of the following options:
-
ScanOnly: Only the scan queue and Document Type are set at the HP device. The Indexing panel is hidden. All indexing must be completed within the OnBase Client.
-
PreIndex: The Indexing panel is displayed on the HP device when scanning documents. Keywords can be entered for upload to OnBase, and the documents will be routed for additional indexing within the OnBase Client.
-
FullIndex: The Indexing panel is displayed on the HP device when scanning documents. Keywords can be entered for upload to OnBase, and the documents will be considered fully indexed, thus bypassing additional indexing within the OnBase Client and making the documents immediately available in Document Retrieval, Workflow (if you are licensed for it and the scan queue is configured for it), etc. For more information on initiating Workflow, see the Document Imaging Module Reference Guide.
