Entering Keyword Values of the appropriate length for the Date Keyword Type or the Date & Time Keyword Type triggers an automatic expansion of the entered Keyword Values to include standard date and time separators, such as / or : characters.
Consider the following information when entering date and time Keyword Values:

If you enter an eight-digit Keyword Value for a Date Keyword Type without separators, the Keyword Value is automatically expanded to include separators. For example, if you enter 01012011 as the Keyword Value for the Date Keyword Type, it is automatically expanded to 01/01/2011.

If you enter a Keyword Value for a Date Keyword Type that is not exactly eight digits or that includes separators, the Keyword Value is not automatically expanded.

If you enter a Keyword Value for the Date & Time Keyword Type with the correct number of digits to match the format of MMDDYYYY HHMMSS XM, without separators, the Keyword Value is automatically expanded to include the separators. For example, if you enter 01012011 050505 AM as the Keyword Value for the Date & Time Keyword Type, it is automatically expanded to 01/01/2011 05:05:05 AM.

If you only enter an eight-digit date Keyword Value for the Date & Time Keyword Type without separators, it is automatically expanded to include the separators for the date only. For example, if you enter 01012011 for the Date & Time Keyword Type, it is automatically expanded to 01/01/2011.

If you enter a Keyword Value for the Date & Time Keyword Type that does not have the correct number of digits to match the format MMDDYYYY HHMMSS XM (or the eight-digit, date-only format MMDDYYYY), the Keyword Value is not expanded.

If you enter a Keyword Value for the Date & Time Keyword Type that includes separators, the Keyword Value is not expanded.
