To enable authentication with OnBase, the Plan Review's Web.config file must be updated with the Hyland IdS values.

To configure the Plan Review's Web.config file:

  1. If needed, open the Web.config file with a text editor, such as Notepad.
By default, the file is located at: C:\inetpub\wwwroot\PlanReview\Web.config.
  2. Navigate to the <Hyland.Integrations> section and configure the following settings:
Note: The Plan Review's Web.config file can be also configured using the Web Application Management Console. For more information on this procedure, see the Using the Web Application Management Console section in the Electronic Plan Review documentation.
    Setting Description
IdsUrl value The URL of the Hyland IdS.

For example, if your hostname is my.hostname and the Hyland IdS IIS application name is identityservice, then the value is "https://my.hostname/identityservice".

IdsTenant value The name of the tenant on Hyland IdS.
IdsClientId value The ID of the Hyland IdS client.
RestApiUrl value The base URL of the OnBase REST API.

For example, if your hostname is my.hostname and the Hyland API Server IIS application name is apiserver, then the value is "https://my.hostname/apiserver/onbase".

ExtensibilityTokenLifeTime value The maximum validity period, in minutes, of an extensibility authentication token.

    For example: "120"

  3. Navigate to the <appsettings> section of the Web.config file.
  4. Set the add key="TokenAuthentication" value to true.
  5. Save and close the Web.config file.
    All the changes are saved.
  6. Recycle the application pool for changes to take effect.
Once the Web.config file configuration is complete, configure the OnBase integration widget in Trimble Unity Permit Public Access to enable seamless navigation to associated projects in Plan Review. For more information on this procedure, see Creating the OnBase Integration Widget in Trimble Unity Permit Public Access.
