To enable access to Plan Review projects in the Unity Client from Trimble Unity Respond or Cityworks Respond, the HttpAutomation and Application Enabler settings in the Unity Client's file must be modified.

Note: This procedure is required only for accessing Plan Review projects, which are associated with permit cases, in the Unity Client.

To configure the Unity Client configuration file:

  1. Open the file with a text editor, such as Notepad.
    By default, the file is located at C:\Program Files (x86)\Hyland\Unity Client.
  2. Navigate to the <Hyland.Canvas.Automation.Services> section and set the value of HttpAutomation enabled to true. For example:
    <HttpAutomation enabled="true" port="15412"/>
  3. Navigate to the <Hyland.Canvas.Client> section and perform the following:
    1. Set the value of ServiceMode enabled to true. For example:
      <ServiceMode enabled="true" allowExit="true" autoLaunch="true">
    2. Set the value of "Application Enabler" enabled to true. For example:
      <Feature name="Application Enabler" enabled="true"/>
  4. Save and close the file.
    All the changes are saved.
  5. Recycle the application pool for changes to take effect.
The Open in Plan Review button in Trimble Unity Respond or Cityworks Respond is active and opens the associated project in the Plan Review Unity Client interface.
