The following procedure describes how to configure the OnBase Patient Window for autologin using Active Directory authentication.

To configure the OnBase Patient Window for autologin:

  1. Open the Web.config file from the PatientWindow directory.
  2. Set EnableAutoLogin to true.
  3. Clear the default_username and default_password values, if they are configured.
  4. Save Web.config.
  5. Open Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager by typing inetmgr in a Run dialog box and clicking OK.
  6. Navigate to the PatientWindow application in the Connections pane.
  7. Double-click Authentication in the right pane.
  8. Set Anonymous Authentication to Disabled.
  9. Set Windows Authentication to Enabled.
  10. Close IIS Manager.
