Controls whether thumbnail requests are created by the HL7 DICOM Processor. DICOM thumbnails can help users of OnBase Patient Window identify specific studies or series when the document list is in thumbnail mode. Valid values are 0(disabled) and 1(enabled). The default value is 0.
When this setting is 1, the HL7 DICOM Processor creates a thumbnail request for each study document it retrieves using federated search. When this setting is 0, the HL7 DICOM Processor does not create requests for thumbnails.
Thumbnail requests are fulfilled by the Unity Scheduler. The Unity Scheduler must be installed and configured to retrieve thumbnails from the NilRead server. See Retrieving Thumbnail Images.
