The OnBase Patient Window allows HIM departments, physicians, and clinical staff to view all medical documents associated with a patient's MRN or MPI. When integrated with an electronic medical record (EMR) system, the OnBase Patient Window retrieves medical records from OnBase using patient information provided in the third-party system. Users with appropriate privileges also can search for patient records when the EMR system is unavailable.
