The following are considered best practices for configuring the Mobile Applications Broker:

  • To help ensure the security of highly sensitive information being transmitted over the Internet, the Mobile Applications Broker should be configured to only accept HTTPS connections.

  • If you are using the OnBase Mobile Access for Android Phone module, you can increase the speed at which data is transferred by enabling dynamic gzip HTTP compression for application/json; charset=utf-8 in IIS. See the IIS help file for instructions on enabling compression.
