1. Hold the CTRL(control) key and left-click an object. The box changes from red to blue.
2. While continuing to hold the CTRL key, click another object. Continue selecting objects this way.
3. The last object clicked becomes the “guide” for the group of objects selected. The guide is outlined with solid blue lines; the other selected objects are highlighted in blue hash marks.
